Senior Business Analyst - Custody Tax

About the role

Albany Beck is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a large‑scale custody tax and regulatory remediation programme. The role will support the delivery of reporting and compliance initiatives for institutional and wealth‑management operations, working closely with senior stakeholders across implementation, custody tax, programme delivery, operations and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements‑gathering activities for tax and regulatory reporting workstreams and translate them into detailed functional documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions, supporting delivery planning and programme execution.
• Analyse complex custody, transactional and client data sets to validate reporting outputs and investigate discrepancies.
• Participate in testing phases, including external client testing, and assist with defect management and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with technology and operational teams to ensure successful implementation of remediation initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, provide leadership in meetings, and escalate risks, issues and dependencies as needed.

Required profile

• Strong business analysis experience within financial services, preferably in custody, wealth management, institutional asset servicing or banking.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage complex regulatory reporting projects.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience analysing transaction types such as repos and institutional client structures.
