Senior Commercialisation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Commercialisation Engineer to lead the development and transfer of pharmaceutical API processes at our Ballydine site in Tipperary. The role supports both internal and external manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement, innovation, and reliable production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead new product introductions and technical transfers, including new technologies, across the site.
• Coordinate multi‑functional teams to meet product launch milestones and schedule targets.
• Evaluate raw materials, develop process fits, optimise chemical API routes, and prepare campaign plans.
• Conduct safety, environmental, batch sheet, regulatory and validation reviews.
• Monitor processes, perform time‑cycle studies, investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop filing strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduation experience in pharmaceutical API manufacturing or process development.
• Proven ability to solve technical problems and drive improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with diverse, cross‑functional teams.
• High personal integrity, reliability and a patient‑focused mindset.
