Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will join the FINEOS Cloud Infrastructure Automation team to design, build and maintain automated infrastructure on AWS. The role focuses on test automation for infrastructure code and supports both cloud operations and internal product engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks for Ansible, Python, TypeScript and Jenkins pipelines.
• Define and execute test strategies aligned with Agile SDLC practices.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in roadmap planning for automation solutions and provide technical expertise for DevOps projects.
• Engineer reusable solutions for repetitive tasks and mentor junior team members.
• Monitor system performance, capacity and reliability, and recommend enhancements to meet SLAs.
• Maintain configuration management, component inventory and documentation per company policies.
• Perform daily system monitoring, log review and scheduled job verification.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience in software engineering, preferably on enterprise‑scale systems.
• Proven experience in test automation for infrastructure code and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with test‑management platforms such as X‑Ray, Zephyr or TestRail.
• Relevant third‑level qualification or equivalent commercial experience.
