Senior Director, Customer Solutions – EMEA

About the role

D-Wave is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Customer Solutions organization across EMEA. The role is fully remote for candidates based in the UK or Ireland and reports to senior leadership. You will guide a team of consultants and technical account managers delivering quantum optimization solutions to enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee successful execution and quality of all regional projects, ensuring strong governance and customer satisfaction.
• Drive accountability for timelines, scope, budget, and outcomes while managing escalations in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor and optimize staffing and resource utilization across the EMEA Customer Solutions team.
• Collaborate closely with EMEA sales to support strategic opportunities and improve technical discovery processes.
• Provide advisory services through the technical account management team to ensure ongoing customer success.
• Influence product roadmap and refine best practices based on project insights and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience managing consulting or professional services teams.
• Strong track record of delivering complex technology solutions in a remote or distributed environment.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills with sales, R&D, and operations.
• Ability to drive operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement.
