About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Administrator / Helpdesk Support professional to deliver first‑line technical assistance to our end users. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues while helping maintain the day‑to‑day IT environment across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line support via phone, email or ticketing system and log all incidents.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems, escalating complex cases to the IT manager.
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and related peripherals.
- Set up user accounts, email, and devices; manage Active Directory users and groups.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and maintain the IT asset inventory.
- Perform routine system checks, updates and basic network troubleshooting (Wi‑Fi, LAN, VPN).
- Support the setup of routers, switches and access points and monitor system performance.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and good communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
Required skills
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
- Active Directory user and group management
- Basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)
- Ticketing systems such as Freshdesk or Zendesk
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
