Senior Director Manufacturing & Supply Chain

About the role

We are an innovative, fast‑growing medical device company seeking a Senior Director of Manufacturing & Supply Chain to join the executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape global manufacturing strategy and drive operational excellence as we scale commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global manufacturing and supply‑chain operations, including production planning, procurement, logistics and inventory management.
• Develop scalable manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives and oversee technology transfer and scale‑up activities.
• Manage relationships with external manufacturing partners, suppliers and vendors.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Implement ERP systems, KPIs and operational reporting structures.
• Identify cost‑reduction and margin‑optimisation opportunities.
• Develop supply‑chain resilience and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Finance functions.
• Manage manufacturing budgets and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• MBA, PMP or other advanced qualification is desirable.
• 15+ years of leadership experience in the medical‑device industry.
• Proven track record establishing and scaling manufacturing capabilities.
• Strong commercial, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
