Senior Director, Quality Systems

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a senior leader to shape and operate its global Quality Management System (QMS) technology landscape for Innovative Medicine. Reporting to the Vice President of Quality Management & Digital, the Senior Director will drive strategy, roadmap and continuous improvement of core QMS platforms across multiple sites in Belgium and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global QMS systems strategy, investment roadmap and governance model.
• Oversee operation and sustainment of core systems such as Transcend, QMS Operations, Learning Management System (LMS) and Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
• Partner with Quality & Compliance, Enterprise Quality, Digital Quality, Global Process Owners and regional teams to ensure systems meet regulatory expectations and inspection readiness.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing strategic direction, people leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance and digital enablement of GxP quality processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in leading global quality management system initiatives within the pharmaceutical or medical-device industry.
• Proven track record of managing complex, regulated QMS environments and delivering digital transformation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and regions.
• Deep understanding of GxP regulations, inspection readiness and continuous improvement methodologies.
