Senior Employment Tax & Global Mobility Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Employment Tax & Global Mobility Advisor to join a leading Top‑10 accounting firm. The role involves advising multinational clients on the tax implications of cross‑border assignments, remote work, and global workforce strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on employment tax, social security and personal tax for cross‑border assignments.
• Design and implement global mobility and workforce tax strategies, including tax equalisation and protection.
• Manage employment tax aspects of mobility programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify and mitigate permanent establishment and payroll risks.
• Support resolution of employment tax disputes and assignee‑related issues.
• Collaborate with legal, immigration and wider tax teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Deliver technical training and thought‑leadership to clients and internal teams.
• Build long‑term client relationships and contribute to practice growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in employment tax and global mobility advisory.
• Strong client‑facing and commercial acumen.
• Ability to work with tax, payroll, finance and HR stakeholders.
• Interest in developing technical expertise and progressing within a top‑tier firm.
