Senior Fund Accountant – 9‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join a high‑performing fund accounting team on a 9‑month contract. The role is based in Dublin and operates on a hybrid schedule, with four days in the office and one day remote.

Key responsibilities

• Report and validate mutual fund data for clients, internal groups and external database providers.
• Prepare, review and deliver financial reports, surveys, worksheets and client deliverables.
• Maintain and update mutual fund databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Produce routine and ad‑hoc reports, notifications and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review fund financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform reconciliations of holdings, trades, cash balances, accruals and other fund accounting records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliation and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accounting or finance professional with solid analytical abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and proven experience in fund accounting, investment operations or financial services.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high‑performing team and meet occasional out‑of‑hours requirements.
