Senior International Tax Analyst

About the role

This senior position sits within the EMEA Tax team of a global technology organisation based in Cork. You will work on international tax compliance, reporting, controversy and strategic projects across multiple jurisdictions, supporting high‑profile initiatives such as M&A, restructurings and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Support corporate tax reporting and compliance across EMEA jurisdictions.
• Assist with tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, business expansions and internal restructurings.
• Partner with international tax teams on audit readiness and tax controversy matters.
• Contribute to income‑tax accounting activities and review international components of the global tax provision.
• Research and document complex tax and tax‑accounting issues affecting EMEA operations.
• Drive automation and efficiency initiatives in collaboration with tax technology teams.
• Monitor new tax legislation and regulatory developments with external advisors.
• Coordinate cross‑functional tax projects involving finance, accounting and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• ACA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in a Big 4/Top 10 practice or a multinational corporate tax function.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international corporate tax.
• Experience with tax accounting under IFRS, US GAAP or similar frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
