Senior Legal Counsel – Innovative Medicine Supply Chain

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead contract management for its Innovative Medicine Supply Chain. The role is based in Ringaskiddy, Cork and will support end‑to‑end supply‑chain transactions across the Biotherapeutics platform, from clinical development through commercial launch.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate high‑risk, high‑complexity contracts with suppliers spanning clinical to commercial supply.
• Provide legal advice on supply‑chain agreements, external manufacturing, procurement, product development and related operational decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders including Procurement, External Manufacturing, Discovery, and Collaboration Partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Support strategic initiatives such as capital forecasts, reservation fees and firm forecasts.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with extensive experience in contract negotiation and supply‑chain law, preferably within biopharma or medical‑technology sectors.
• Proven ability to handle complex, high‑value agreements and advise senior business leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with external manufacturers and partners.
