Senior Life Actuarial Consultant

About the role

Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is expanding its Risk Consulting team in Dublin. The Senior Life Actuarial Consultant will work on a permanent basis, delivering high‑quality life insurance and reinsurance advisory services across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in diverse client engagements, producing timely, high‑quality actuarial outputs.
• Develop core technical life actuarial expertise while enhancing broader consulting capabilities.
• Lead client interactions confidently and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Risk, Assurance, and Business Consulting.
• Share knowledge and promote learning within the department.
• Travel to other offices as required to support project delivery.

Required profile

• Partly or nearly qualified actuary with at least 3 years of experience in life insurance, reinsurance, or related consultancy.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Awareness of current challenges in the life insurance industry.
• Professional attitude, confident client handling, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
