Senior Manager, Global Mobility Technical

About the role

The Senior Manager, Global Mobility Technical will support Mobility Consulting by overseeing all technical aspects of individual global assignments. You will lead the due‑diligence process, ensure cost projections are accurate, and guarantee compliance with KPMG’s Global Mobility policy.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain KPMG LinkE records for each assignment.
• Prepare and document end‑to‑end due‑diligence for all mobile assignments, coordinating with internal and external experts.
• Collaborate with the Mobility Consulting team to align assignment set‑up with business strategy.
• Produce, review, and incorporate tax implications into mobility cost projections.
• Conduct comparative analysis of mobility packages and obtain business approval.
• Manage the annual Cost Projection Refresh process.
• Liaise with local payroll and Mobility Tax Accounting teams to reflect tax impacts in payroll processing.
• Prepare, review, and issue Letters of Understanding for assignees.
• Lead the Mobility Technical team, monitoring case volumes, SLA adherence, and metric reporting.

Required profile

• University/Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting or Tax degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience in Global Mobility operations.
• 3+ years experience in expatriate tax (preferred).
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work virtually in a diverse, technology‑driven environment.
• Flexibility to manage multiple fast‑paced projects and meet deadlines.
