Senior Manager – Transport Advisory (Government & Public Sector)

About the role

PwC Ireland is expanding its Transport team within the Government & Public Sector practice. As a Senior Manager you will lead technology‑enabled transformation programmes that improve public trust and deliver lasting value across Ireland’s transport sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale transport transformation programmes for government and public‑sector clients.
• Support account growth by identifying new opportunities and shaping proposals.
• Develop and implement future‑state operating models, procurement strategies and operational effectiveness plans.
• Apply project‑management and change‑management methodologies to drive transformation.
• Co‑create solutions with clients to address complex organisational challenges.
• Facilitate senior‑level stakeholder engagement and manage relationships.
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality outputs aligned with client expectations.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree.
• 7+ years of experience in management consulting or public‑sector roles, preferably within transport.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to convert opportunities into projects.
• Deep understanding of operating‑model design, public‑sector procurement or related capabilities.
