Senior Manual QA Engineer (Front SEO)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer with a focus on Front‑end SEO to join a fast‑scaling product team in Ireland. The role involves ensuring the stability, performance and correctness of web features, particularly those that affect search visibility and user experience at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical requirements and participate in task discussions to clarify functionality and edge cases.
• Create detailed test documentation – checklists, test cases and structured scenarios for web and front‑end features.
• Execute functional, regression and acceptance testing with an emphasis on SEO impact.
• Validate deployments in test and production environments to guarantee smooth releases.
• Analyse test runs, maintain documentation and continuously improve coverage.
• Track bugs throughout the STLC lifecycle, ensuring clear reporting and resolution.
• Provide demos and feedback to developers, product managers and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate production issues and drive effective fixes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of manual QA experience, preferably on web or front‑end applications.
• Strong understanding of client‑server architecture and web technologies.
• Detail‑oriented with proven ability to design structured test cases.
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Required skills

• Manual testing of web applications.
• HTML, CSS.
• Browser DevTools.
• Version control with Git.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Understanding of SEO principles – crawling, indexing, schema markup, SSR and rendering impact.
