Senior Marketing Manager

About the role

MERLYN, the UK’s leading shower enclosure brand, is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead its marketing team from its Kilkenny head office. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for shaping the MERLYN brand, driving commercial growth and delivering integrated marketing programmes across the UK, Ireland and France.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing marketing team, setting clear KPIs and managing performance.
• Define and evolve the MERLYN brand experience across B2B and B2C touchpoints.
• Drive digital marketing strategy, optimise customer journeys and use data‑driven insights for commercial decisions.
• Produce best‑in‑class marketing assets – digital content, in‑store materials, video, packaging, brochures, advertising, sales tools, POS and presentations – for the three markets.
• Partner with Sales to align marketing activities with commercial objectives and ensure consistent messaging.
• Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sales to plan and execute product launches and go‑to‑market plans.
• Own the delivery, measurement and optimisation of a three‑year brand development strategy across all markets.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of marketing leadership experience with proven people‑management success.
• Strong commercial mindset, highly organised and deadline‑driven.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
• Creative thinker with a track record of delivering standout campaigns and brand experiences.
• Entrepreneurial attitude, capable of identifying new brand and category opportunities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
