Senior Process Engineer

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer leads a high‑volume, fully automated manufacturing team to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets. You will guide engineers and technicians, champion data‑driven problem solving, and ensure continuous improvement of equipment and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers/technicians to support production and maintenance, resolving daily issues.
• Apply structured, data‑driven problem‑solving methods to investigate and eliminate process deviations.
• Standardise and optimise equipment setup, upgrade machinery to enhance process capability.
• Review and improve preventative maintenance schedules to maximise uptime.
• Collaborate with material suppliers and development teams to align machine capability and ensure robust handovers.
• Lead quality investigations, customer complaints, CAPA actions and change‑control processes.
• Train and develop technicians, enforce safety risk assessments, and ensure compliance with quality policies.
• Conduct performance reviews, set objectives and manage attendance for direct reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of process engineering experience in high‑speed automation environments.
• Proven experience with precision mechanical setup.
• Strong data‑analysis capability and familiarity with Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies.
• Knowledge of Lean techniques such as Standard Work and TPM.
• Understanding of equipment validation and documentation in regulated industries is a plus.
