Senior Project Manager – Events

About the role

Abbey Events is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple corporate and association conferences from our Dublin hub. Working closely with the Director of Events, you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of conferences, ensuring budgets and timelines are met while providing a seamless client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the organisation of all assigned conferences and events.
• Act as the primary client contact, attending meetings and shaping event design.
• Oversee onsite execution as the company’s representative during each event.
• Lead and support departmental staff assigned to larger projects.
• Provide training and support to presenters and hosts to align with client objectives.
• Manage accommodation, venue, and supplier relationships.
• Handle online registration, abstract management, and AV/catering coordination.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior project manager in corporate or association events.
• Ability to manage multiple conferences simultaneously.
• Strong budget and timeline management skills.
• Excellent client‑facing and communication abilities.
