Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team on a contract basis. In this position you will apply your deep technical expertise to help train next‑generation AI systems by providing high‑quality, real‑world coding input. No prior AI experience is required – your domain knowledge and software skills are what matter.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute expert‑level knowledge to bug fixing, feature implementation, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization across multiple programming languages.
• Analyze and enhance software codebases to ensure clarity, maintainability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to give feedback and insights that improve AI model performance.
• Develop robust solutions and document best practices to support scalable AI training workflows.
• Evaluate existing system architecture and recommend technical strategies for optimal results.
• Deliver clear, concise written and verbal communication regarding technical findings and project progress.
• Support continuous improvement of AI systems by providing real‑world coding expertise in challenging scenarios.

Required profile

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross‑functional remote teams.
• Track record of delivering maintainable, high‑performance software solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python 3, Java, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Additional experience in C++ or Go is a strong asset.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience debugging complex software issues and optimizing for scalability.
