Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a dynamic tax team within a respected mid‑tier accountancy firm operating in Dublin and Cork. The role offers a hybrid working model and a clear pathway toward a Manager position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the completion of tax compliance assignments for partner review.
• Support the delivery of client tax planning strategies.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings on tax matters.
• Supervise junior staff, delegate tasks, review work and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Assist with staffing allocation, resource planning and internal deadlines.
• Help clients navigate Revenue audits, negotiations and settlements.
• Maintain a diverse portfolio of Irish and international clients.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Irish tax legislation and identify optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualified CA or ACCA (CTA qualification is a plus).
• Minimum of 3 years’ Irish practice experience in a tax‑focused role.
• Experience working with clients across multiple sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
