Senior Vendor Manager - SMB Sales

About the role

The Senior Vendor Manager, SMB Sales will own performance across OpenAI’s outsourced SMB sales vendor network. This role focuses on driving large‑scale sales execution, ensuring high‑quality outcomes while partnering with sales leadership, revenue operations, finance, enablement, and external vendor executives.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional and site‑level performance across revenue, pipeline, conversion, productivity, and quality metrics.
• Inspect sales funnel health, diagnose performance gaps, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with vendor partners, turning governance forums into decision‑making platforms.
• Build and maintain scorecards that surface sales performance, operational health, and risk.
• Hold vendor leadership accountable for coaching, staffing discipline, and execution rigor.
• Partner with enablement, revenue operations, and program management to close readiness gaps and manage capacity.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in vendor management, sales operations, or scaled commercial execution.
• Direct experience managing outsourced, revenue‑generating vendor operations in software/SaaS environments.
• Proven track record owning sales performance across multiple teams, sites, regions, or vendors.
• Strong understanding of sales funnel metrics, forecasting, conversion, productivity, and operational governance.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
