Senior Windows System Engineer – M365 & Entra (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Windows System Engineer to join a large enterprise client on a 12‑month day‑rate contract. The role focuses on designing, implementing and supporting a multi‑tenant Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environment for a sizable user base, ensuring secure identity management and modern workplace services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 across multiple tenants.
• Manage Entra ID lifecycle, access governance and Conditional Access policies.
• Configure Microsoft Teams, including Enterprise Voice and collaboration services.
• Support Exchange Online, mail flow and tenant configuration.
• Lead tenant onboarding, migrations and cross‑tenant integrations.
• Manage endpoint compliance and configuration via Microsoft Intune.
• Administer SharePoint Online and enforce governance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on hybrid/on‑prem integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Contribute to security and compliance initiatives across Microsoft cloud platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior‑level experience in Microsoft infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Proven track record administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in enterprise‑scale, multi‑tenant environments.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance and governance within Microsoft ecosystems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced enterprise setting.
