Service Technician – Field Based Water Cooler Specialist

About the role

Culligan is seeking a Service Technician to join its field team in Cork. You will be responsible for delivering, installing, servicing and maintaining water coolers and filtration systems at customer locations, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled sanitisation and disinfection of water coolers and drinking‑water systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe, hygienic and fully operational.
• Install, service and repair water coolers and filtration units.
• Replace filters and consumable components according to service schedules.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective technical solutions.
• Complete digital service and sanitisation records using company systems.
• Manage van stock and maintain tools and materials required for daily activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as a professional ambassador for Culligan.

Required profile

• Full, valid driving licence (maximum 6 points, no disqualifying offences).
• Experience in field service, maintenance, technical, hygiene or sanitisation roles (training provided for product range).
• Strong focus on cleanliness, quality and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical or mechanical issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a busy schedule and meet performance KPIs.
• Good geographical knowledge of Cork and surrounding areas.
