ServiceNow Administrator – Hybrid, Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to join our Dublin team on a permanent, hybrid basis. The role focuses on day‑to‑day administration, configuration and optimisation of the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee administration and configuration of core ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Manage user access, roles and group structures to ensure proper governance and security.
• Monitor platform performance, resolve technical issues and coordinate system upgrades and patches.
• Build and maintain workflows, automation rules, UI policies and service catalog items.
• Contribute to CMDB governance and asset lifecycle management.
• Produce operational reports, dashboards and automated data extracts for performance tracking.
• Partner with technical stakeholders to identify optimisation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation.
• Provide user guidance, troubleshooting support and training as required.
• Track system health indicators and user adoption metrics to enhance platform effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on ServiceNow administration experience.
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management frameworks and ServiceNow configuration.
• Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer and basic scripting.
• Proven ability to develop reports, dashboards and Performance Analytics.
• Working knowledge of CMDB structures and asset lifecycle management.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator accreditation (mandatory).
• Strong analytical mindset with effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative, cross‑functional team.
