ServiceNow Administrator – Hybrid, Dublin

About the role

Our Dublin‑based client is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to join the team on a permanent, hybrid basis. The role will manage day‑to‑day administration, configuration and optimisation of the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day administration and configuration of core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management).
• Manage user access, roles and group structures to ensure governance and security.
• Monitor platform performance, resolve technical issues and coordinate upgrades/patches.
• Build, enhance and maintain workflows, automation rules, UI policies and service catalog items.
• Contribute to CMDB accuracy and governance.
• Produce operational reports, dashboards and automated data extracts.
• Partner with technical stakeholders to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Create and maintain technical and process documentation.
• Provide user guidance, troubleshooting and training.
• Track system health and user adoption metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on ServiceNow administration experience.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator accreditation (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and effective communication with stakeholders.
