SharePoint/O365 Administrator (Hybrid, Permanent)

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced SharePoint/O365 Administrator to manage and evolve their enterprise collaboration platforms, ensuring robust governance, security and user adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise the SharePoint Online environment, including site provisioning, permissions and lifecycle management.
• Maintain governance policies, technical controls and platform configurations, and support the introduction of new features.
• Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet agreed requirements.
• Monitor tenant health, storage capacity, usage and performance, and provide technical support to IT teams and end‑users.
• Contribute to information governance, retention and compliance activities using Microsoft Purview.
• Identify operational risks, control gaps and opportunities for automation, reporting and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience administering SharePoint Online in a complex organisation.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, Entra ID and Purview.
• Proven ability to manage permissions, retention policies and data‑governance controls.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated with a track record of delivering high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
