About the role
The Shop Floor Assistant ensures that all products on the shop floor are presented to the highest standard, maintaining hygiene and food safety while supporting the store’s overall visual merchandising goals. This position works closely with the Store Manager and other team members to keep the store tidy, well‑stocked, and aligned with Centra’s brand values.
Key responsibilities
- Merchandise, rotate, and face‑off stock in the assigned department.
- Maintain hygiene and food standards throughout the store.
- Process orders for various departments and ensure accurate stock receipt.
- Implement correct labelling and stock rotation procedures.
- Liaise with the Store Manager on layout changes, ends, and sides, ensuring proper implementation.
- Keep the back‑store tidy and organised.
- Adhere to scheduled shift times, with flexibility for approximate start and finish times.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
