Social Care Team Leader

About the role

We are expanding our residential social care team and are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic Social Care Team Leader. The role involves supporting the personal development and life‑skills of a young active lady while leading a small frontline team in a home‑based setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct frontline support including sleep‑overs, day shifts and weekend coverage.
• Allocate approximately 25 % of time to administrative duties such as report writing and maintaining care records.
• Lead and motivate the care team, fostering a culture of rights, valued roles and independence.
• Participate in a monthly Team Leader Forum via Zoom for ongoing training and development.
• Collaborate with the Support Coordinator for mentoring and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and promote meaningful community involvement.

Required profile

• Positive, proactive and observant with strong leadership qualities.
• Committed to advocating for the rights and growth of service users.
• Clear and concise communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Team‑player with an outward vision and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work a residential roster that includes evenings and weekends.
