Social Media & Content Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media & Content Executive to join our dynamic, cross‑functional team at Brown Thomas Arnotts. Working on a fixed‑term basis to cover maternity leave, you will create and execute engaging, brand‑building social content across multiple platforms, helping to grow our online community and support our diverse product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Manager to produce social‑first content that drives engagement and meets business objectives.
• Create still and video assets for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging platforms.
• Shoot, edit and produce high‑quality photography and video for organic and paid campaigns.
• Publish content in line with brand guidelines, campaign goals and tone of voice.
• Contribute to campaign ideation, content planning and social media calendar management.
• Monitor trends, platform updates and cultural moments to generate shareable content.
• Direct on‑camera talent and work with influencers, brand partners and internal stakeholders from concept to final edit.
• Support day‑to‑day community management and foster audience interaction.
• Partner with Marketing, PR, Buying, Creative, Operations and E‑commerce teams to bring campaigns to life.
• Assist with reporting, performance analysis and content optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating photography, videography and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment focused on exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple internal teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience shooting and editing high‑quality photo and video content.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging social platforms.
