Software Craftsperson / Full‑stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Software Craftsperson who will work on a modern ERP ecosystem, building and extending production‑grade applications. The role is fully remote‑first and offers high autonomy, allowing you to shape business‑critical solutions from design to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain custom applications within the Frappe bench ecosystem, extending ERP functionality.
• Create and configure custom DocTypes, server scripts, client scripts, hooks, controllers and REST APIs with proper role‑based access control.
• Debug and resolve issues across development and production environments, ensuring stability and performance.
• Participate in requirement‑gathering sessions, translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, and support deployment and UAT activities.
• Maintain high‑quality code using Git, conduct code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Improve system observability, developer experience and engineering standards.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience with the Frappe framework and ERPNext ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and JavaScript for client‑side scripting.
• Experience creating custom DocTypes, fields, workflows and business logic.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as MariaDB and MySQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Git and Linux/Ubuntu CLI environments.
• Self‑motivated with a strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
