Software Engineer – AI Backend & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

DocSpera is seeking a high‑caliber Software Engineer to help build AI‑driven backend systems for a fast‑growing digital healthcare platform. You will work within a cross‑functional team to design, implement, and maintain intelligent services that leverage OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and AWS technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Python and Golang.
• Integrate and fine‑tune LLM models such as Claude and OpenAI APIs.
• Architect and deploy scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with product, data, and ML teams to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions.
• Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and reliability best practices.
• Contribute to the overall technical direction of the AI platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Golang.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI/ML models, especially OpenAI and Anthropic Claude APIs.
• Expertise with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
• Deep knowledge of core AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, Bedrock, SQS, SNS, etc.).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Based in Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, or Northern Europe.
