Mastercard is looking for a Software Engineer I to join its Dublin team. The role focuses on building secure, reliable, and high‑performance payment solutions that have real‑world impact for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, secure, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to all phases of software development, from design through rollout.
• Own the team’s software, including monitoring, dependencies, builds, and deployments.
• Collaborate effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in the final year of a bachelor’s or accelerated master’s program.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer‑science concepts.
• Proficiency in one or more general‑purpose programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
