Software Engineer – Remote (Ireland)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑impact backend services that power secure and scalable digital financial solutions. The role is fully remote and part of an international engineering team focused on modern finance, blockchain, and cloud‑based systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain backend services and applications.
• Own software components from architecture through production monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Build secure, fault‑tolerant, and scalable solutions for large user bases.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams and business stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, including microservices, cloud‑native and distributed systems.
• Apply modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing and continuous delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge‑sharing activities.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and experience with at least one programming language.
• Passion for solving complex technical problems in a collaborative, remote environment.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and working on systems where security, reliability and scalability are critical.
