Sonographer (Temporary, 2 Days Per Week)

About the role

Direct Medics is recruiting, on behalf of a client based in Dun Laoghaire, an experienced and dedicated Sonographer. The role is temporary, covering 2 days per week (Monday and Friday) for a total of 14 hours. It suits someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in patient care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Required profile

• Primary degree in an approved healthcare field and active registration with the corresponding Irish regulatory board (CORU).
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in medical ultrasound/ultrasound imaging (minimum QQI Level 9 Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Master's degree); for radiographers, the programme must be recognized by the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy (IIRRT).
• At least 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in the UK or ROI.
• Right to work in Ireland without visa sponsorship.
