Relief Pharmacist - Limerick

About the role

PHX Ireland, which owns McCabes Pharmacy, is looking for a Relief Pharmacist to join its team in Limerick. This is a permanent, full-time position. The role covers dispensing, vaccinations, health screenings and patient counselling, working closely with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the dispensary meets the highest legal and professional standards, in line with PSI guidelines and pharmacy law.
• Provide vaccinations, health screenings and patient counselling.
• Deliver a safe, efficient and friendly dispensing service following McCabes Pharmacy best practices.
• Uphold high standards of ethics, accuracy and professionalism.
• Ensure timely and secure delivery of medications to customers.
• Work with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide joined-up patient care.
• Support the monthly claims process with accurate, timely submissions to the relevant Payment Boards.

Required profile

• PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification.
• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
