Staff Nurse – Flexible Shifts in Cork Hospitals

About the role

Emerald Nursing is seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work across a variety of Cork’s leading private hospitals, HSE teaching hospitals, national specialist centres and Section 38 services. You will enjoy full control over your diary and premium hourly rates while delivering high‑quality nursing care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in acute, specialist and community settings across Cork’s private and public hospitals.
• Deliver patient‑centred care in cardiac, oncology, orthopaedic and other specialist areas as required.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies.

Required profile

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered General Nurse.
• Minimum six months recent clinical experience within the Irish healthcare system.
• Strong clinical references.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training.
• Garda vetting and occupational health clearance (arranged by Emerald Nursing).
