Staff Nurse – Full‑time Permanent Role

About the role

Evergreen Care is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its Mullynahinch residential care home. You will work 12‑hour day or night shifts, providing high‑quality nursing care to older residents in a supportive, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, including medication administration and wound management.
• Monitor residents’ health status, record observations, and report changes to the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with carers, physicians, and support staff to ensure comprehensive resident care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to health‑and‑safety policies.
• Participate in on‑call duties and emergency response as required.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Garda vetting and satisfactory references are mandatory.
• Experience in a nursing home or older‑person setting is desirable.
