About the role

The Pre‑Assessment Clinic is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse to join the nurse management team. This role is central to coordinating clinical activities and resources, ensuring high‑quality patient care within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the pre‑assessment clinic, managing patient flow and resource allocation.
• Provide clinical support to the multidisciplinary team, promoting best practice and open communication.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality standards throughout the clinic.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum three years post‑graduate acute surgical nursing experience.
• Previous experience coordinating a pre‑assessment clinic is desirable.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional development.
