Staff Nurse – Registered General Nurse

About the role

Rathborne Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team caring for elderly residents in Ashtown, Dublin 15. You will work in a supportive environment that values high‑quality resident care and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, to residents as required.
• Maintain and review individual care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct regular resident checks, document observations, and deliver clear handovers each shift.
• Report any health concerns, incidents, or equipment issues to the Director of Nursing promptly.
• Ensure compliance with NMBI guidelines, HIQA standards, and the home’s health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work well within a multidisciplinary team.
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents.
• Team‑player attitude and willingness to contribute to a positive care environment.
