Statutory Controller Manager – Europe

About the role

The Finance Hub at The Coca-Cola Company is looking for a Statutory Controller Manager for Europe. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Europe Statutory Reporting, you will lead the audit process for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while supporting the evolution of the statutory reporting centre of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the audit process for European entities, aligning audit timelines and delivering accurate audit documentation.
• Liaise with external auditors to resolve issues and queries promptly.
• Monitor audit schedules to ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and escalate when necessary.
• Stay up‑to‑date with statutory reporting rules applicable to the entities under your remit.
• Collaborate with pension actuaries and internal teams to ensure US GAAP defined‑benefit pension accounting is accurate.
• Support senior managers in other regions on global statutory reporting activities, including GAAP impairment processes.
• Standardise data‑gathering, preparation and audit execution processes, leveraging the latest technology and controls.
• Partner with Finance Hub teams, Corporate Development, Corporate Tax, Accounting Research and audit service providers to facilitate audits.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance, financial statement preparation, external audit or management accounting.
• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting requirements and GAAP standards (US GAAP, local GAAP).
• Experience working with pension actuaries and defined‑benefit pension accounting.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and manage complex audit timelines.
