Store Manager

About the role

Woodie's, Ireland’s leading DIY, Home & Garden retailer, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead one of its 35 stores. You will be responsible for driving sales, profitability and team development while delivering the high‑standard in‑store experience our customers expect.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a store business plan that aligns local priorities with central guidance.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of 30+ colleagues, creating succession plans for future leaders.
• Manage profit and loss accounts, ensuring targets and business objectives are met.
• Maintain brand standards, visual merchandising and customer service excellence.
• Promote a diverse, inclusive culture where every employee can thrive.

Required profile

• 5+ years of retail management experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and develop future leaders.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
• Commitment to fostering an engaged, innovative and diverse workplace.
