Store Manager – Retail & Food Service

About the role

The Store Manager will lead OAKBERRY’s Dublin outlet, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering an exceptional, health‑focused customer experience. This full‑time, on‑site position combines operational oversight with team leadership in a fast‑paced, quick‑service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling and daily financial reconciliation.
• Oversee inventory, stock control and food‑safety compliance to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Recruit, train, schedule and motivate a team of front‑of‑house staff.
• Monitor sales performance, control costs and prepare basic sales and budgeting reports.
• Support local marketing initiatives and ensure visual merchandising meets brand guidelines.
• Handle escalated customer issues and maintain a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Proven store management experience, preferably in quick‑service restaurants, cafés or retail food outlets.
• Strong knowledge of retail loss‑prevention, cash handling and inventory processes.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Excellent communication skills and experience leading and developing teams.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and health‑and‑safety standards; certification is a plus.
