Supervising Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a Supervising Pharmacist to lead our dispensary at the Skycourt location in Shannon, Co. Clare. The role ensures the pharmacy operates to the highest professional and legal standards while delivering excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the dispensary complies with PSI guidelines and Irish pharmacy law.
• Provide a safe, efficient and friendly dispensing service for all patients.
• Deliver vaccinations, health screenings and patient counselling.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethics, accuracy and professionalism.
• Guarantee timely and secure delivery of medicines to customers.
• Collaborate closely with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the monthly claims process with accurate and timely submissions to the relevant payment boards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years qualified experience as a pharmacist.
• Hold a PSI‑approved pharmacy qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of PSI guidelines and Irish pharmacy legislation.
• Experience delivering vaccinations and health‑screening services.
• Ability to manage claims and interact with payment boards.
• Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
