Supervising Pharmacist – South Dublin

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supervising Pharmacist to lead our South Dublin pharmacy team. You will ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety and regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the dispensary operates to the highest legal and professional standards in line with PSI guidelines and pharmacy law.
• Provide a safe, efficient and friendly dispensing service following McCabes Pharmacy best practices.
• Deliver vaccinations, health screenings and patient counselling as part of best‑in‑class services.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethics, accuracy and professionalism in all activities.
• Guarantee timely and secure delivery of medications to customers.
• Collaborate closely with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
• Support the monthly claims process with accurate and timely submissions to the relevant Payment Boards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years qualified as a Pharmacist.
• Hold a PSI‑approved Pharmacy Qualification.
• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.

• Pharmacy dispensing and medication safety.

• Patient counselling and clinical advice.
• Knowledge of PSI guidelines and pharmacy law compliance.
