Supervisor – Department Store

About the role

We are seeking an experienced retail leader to join our Cork store as a Supervisor. In this role you will drive sales performance, ensure exceptional customer service and support the team in delivering our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise turnover to exceed sales targets and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Motivate and manage the team on the shop floor to achieve and surpass KPIs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.
• Ensure the team has the tools and knowledge to meet business goals.
• Oversee presentation and merchandising of seasonal stock according to Head Office directives.
• Monitor market trends, local competition and upcoming promotions.
• Deliver KPI results and undertake additional duties within defined responsibility levels.

Required profile

• Previous retail experience, preferably in the premium sector.
• Strong people‑management, leadership and motivational abilities.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Analytical capability to interpret financial and sales data.
• High level of brand awareness, product knowledge and awareness of the local area.
• Energetic, confident, positive and fashion‑conscious.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary €38,000 per annum.
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly commercial bonuses plus stocktake and commission bonuses.
