Supplier Engineer – Hybrid (Medical Device)

About the role

We are seeking a Supplier Engineer to join a world‑leading medical device company in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. The role is hybrid, offering a blend of on‑site collaboration and remote work, and provides clear pathways for career progression within a dynamic engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support large‑scale projects and smaller initiatives under senior engineering guidance.
• Manage supplier relationships across purchasing, supplier quality, and business units.
• Integrate new materials, components, and equipment into the manufacturing site.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality systems, service capability, and total cost of ownership.
• Investigate material quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain supplier management policies, procedures, and documentation compliant with GMP.
• Identify and lead material value improvement projects throughout the supply chain.

Required profile

• Level 8 qualification in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process development or R&D engineering.
• Proven ability to work within cross‑functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
