Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for a leading FMCG organisation in Ireland. The role will ensure the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers while driving operational excellence, high service levels and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of supply chain operations, maintaining high service levels and compliance.
• Oversee transport vendor performance, tendering processes and KPI management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain processes.
• Optimise inventory levels, demand forecasting and stock management to minimise excess and shortages.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Manage freight costs, load utilisation and service performance.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing supply chain team.
• Support strategic projects by providing operational expertise and identifying efficiency opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior supply chain leadership role.
• Proven experience in the FMCG foodservice industry.
• Strong background in logistics, transport and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement or a related discipline.
