Supply Chain Manager – Pharmaceutical

About the role

Eirgen Pharma is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead all supply chain, procurement and warehouse activities at its Waterford site. You will be responsible for ensuring timely, cost‑effective delivery of products while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Supply Chain, Procurement and Warehouse team to meet operational and commercial targets on time and within budget.
• Ensure full compliance with environmental, regulatory, cGMP, SOP and company standards.
• Oversee training and development to maintain high capability, compliance and performance.
• Manage departmental budgets, cost centres and resource allocation.
• Drive inventory optimisation, cost control and overall supply chain efficiency.
• Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives, including cost reduction, forecasting accuracy and supplier performance.
• Lead change‑management, in‑sourcing and procedural enhancement projects.
• Contribute to strategic planning as a member of the extended leadership team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in people management and leadership positions.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
