Supply Chain Project Manager – Planning Solutions (Remote)

About the role

This is a hands‑on, 12‑month contract position within a global planning transformation programme for a pharmaceutical company. You will work remotely, supporting the rollout of advanced planning tools across manufacturing sites and quality‑control laboratories, with up to 10% travel for site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the deployment of advanced planning systems (OMP‑led) across multiple manufacturing and QC lab sites.
• Prepare sites for go‑live by aligning data, processes, training and cut‑over activities.
• Track deployment progress, manage risks, issues and dependencies, and produce status reports.
• Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), hyper‑care and post‑go‑live stabilisation.
• Partner with planners, supply‑chain, lab operations, IT and vendors to translate operational needs into delivery actions.
• Maintain governance artefacts such as plans, trackers and reporting dashboards.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of planning processes across deployment waves.

Required profile

• Strong experience in manufacturing planning, supply‑chain or production scheduling, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biotech.
• Proven track record supporting system deployments or planning transformations in regulated environments.
• Practical understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning and supply‑demand balancing.
• Excellent project coordination, governance and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in an execution‑focused role across multi‑site rollouts.
