Supply Planner

About the role

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Supply Planner to join a growing supply‑chain team in Dublin. The role focuses on ensuring product availability, optimising inventory levels and supporting market demand across the FMCG portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, ensuring product availability while minimising excess inventory.
• Collaborate with demand planners to align forecasts and adjust supply plans accordingly.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and reduce working‑capital costs.
• Analyse inventory data to identify slow‑moving or obsolete stock and implement corrective actions.
• Track supplier performance and work with procurement to negotiate terms and manage lead times.
• Partner with sales, marketing and product teams to incorporate promotions, launches and market trends into supply plans.
• Generate regular reports and KPIs on inventory, stockouts, forecast accuracy and supplier performance.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in supply planning or a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Proficiency with supply‑chain planning tools and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Good understanding of FMCG supply‑chain dynamics, including inventory management, lead times and demand forecasting.
• Based in Dublin and able to work on‑site three days per week.
